This is the first Kanye record that I have ever listened to. The production is insane, and although most of the time I can’t stand when Kanye opens his mouth, I respect and admire the chances he takes. There are some truly powerful moments on Yeezus. J. Cole went the safer route and sold more record$. Maybe now Yeezy knows how Saul Williams feels…and maybe just maybe he listened to “Amethyst Rock Star” a few times before making this record. 🙂 xoxo
